He graduated at The Czech Technical University in Prague. He worked as a construction and projects manager in civil engineering in the private sector for 5 years. Then, in 2013, he became the deputy director and in 2015 the director of the operations and technical department of the Czech National Safety Authority. Since 2018, he has been working as the technical director of the Railway Research Institute.
