Petr was born in 1974, he earned his master degree (Ing.) at the University of Žilina, Slovakia, Faculty of Information and Control Systems, specialization Applied Informatics.
He has participated on projects IDOS (multimodal journey planner, winner of the 1st Smart Mobility Challenge organized by the European Commission in 2012), mainly as a leader of its integral part CIS JR (Nationwide Information System on Timetables, also known as NTIS), and SPADO (used for optimization of transport service in the region).
He coordinated several R&D projects for Ministry of transport. Later he was responsible for development of SW for advance-sale and booking of tickets (AMS), including e-ticketing and solutions for mobile phone platform. Currently he is fully involved in Shift2Rail IP4. Petr is also a speaker of UNIFE in the ERA TAP TSI CCM. He speaks fluently English and Slovak, Russian on intermediate level, German on basic level.
